One of the first things that strikes you when looking at the ‘Mobilair 20‘ is its sleek design: Ensuring long-term value retention, the new corrosion- and scratch-resistant polyethylene enclosure with its integrated wheelhouses creates the unit’s dynamic look and discretely hides what lies beneath: impressive performance, energy efficiency and user- / environmentally-friendly operation.
From the all important performance perspective, the ‘Mobilair 20’ features an efficient Kubota 3-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine that ensures super-quiet operation. Furthermore, the M 20’s airend is coupled to the engine via Kaeser’s 1:1 direct drive system, which provides more compressed air for less fuel consumption, making this compact compressor exceptionally economical. With a flow-optimised ‘Sigma Profile’ airend designed to run continuously under load, the ‘M 20’ has a free air delivery of 2 m³/min at 7 bar and is more than capable of powering a heavy-duty breaker. Surprisingly however, the ‘M 20’ has a low operational weight of less than 460 kg, and is therefore incredibly simple to manoeuvre and transport.
Fitted as standard and improving reliability of the ‘M 20‘ still further, Kaeser’s patented ‘Anti-Frost Control’ is particularly useful at times of the year when ambient temperatures are lower, as it protects air tools against freezing and corrosion.
Moreover, all metal body components on the ‘M 20‘ are galvanised and / or powder coated to ensure long-term protection from the elements. Operation is made simple via a single control switch and user-friendly icons, whilst excellent component access greatly simplifies servicing and maintenance tasks.
